Just some highlights from the video shoot for Johnny Chesterfields debut single titled, Why’d I Do It To Em. The footage features mostly lifestyle clips from locations all around Toronto. The video was shot by www.turnerflowfilms.com.
Just wanted to give you guys a a little update.
As you guys might know i`m in my 3rd year at Ryerson University. I study business management with a major in entrepreneurship. With that being said sorry if i have been a little MIA the last week; school is really starting to pick up. They are keeping me busy.
BUT that does not mean im not working! I currently have a couple things on the go right now and cant wait to finish them off. So don`t think im not out here hustlin! I should have you something new and fresh by the end of next week..
Just wanted to make a quick announcement that I have absolutely smashed my goal of 10 000 views in a month with JohnnyChestTV accumulating 12 635 views and 388 subscribers in roughly a months time. Keep spreading the word! I have bigger and better things planned for 2012. Let’s do it Toronto!

First things first, I just want to give a BIG thank you to everyone for their ongoing support. I’m sure you heard it before from every artist but it truly does mean a lot to me and 2012 will be even bigger and better! I’m so close to my personal goal of 10 000 channel views and 400 subscribers in 3 months on JohnnyChestTV.
On another note, after a short absence from school, where I worked full time in a marketing department, I am finally back finishing off my university degree at Ryerson and it most definitely feels good to be back. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of major, then again who wouldn’t be happy studying Richard Branson for a whole class.
Back to the music; I planned on having a couple more post written by now but I have just been overwhelmed with how much work I actually need to put in to get what I want out of this. Without getting into too much detail I will put it like this, the business side has been taking up a lot more of my time in comparison to the music. I have been very actively looking for help managing different aspects of “The Chesterfield Group”, such as bloggers, videographers and graphic designers because I do want to turn this into something not only big but special and innovative. If anyone is interested in being apart please feel free to contact personally at johnnychest@gmail.com. I’m sure we will have room for any skills you may have.
Also after dabbling in the production area of music for a long time I have finally decided to really focus on creating my own sound instead of being forced to someone else’s. With a couple refresher sessions from my boy’s @itswavey and @youlnevermakeit, I really feel that I have found my groove. In saying that, in the future look out for a track exclusively produced, engineered and performed by none other than Toronto’s hottest hip hop artist, Johnny Chesterfield.
